A Maldivian man has won USD 1 million in the Dubai Duty Free (DDF) Millennium Millionaire draw.
According to Gulf News reports, Ahmed Nasir won USD 1 million with ticket number 1174 in Millennium Millionaire Series 442, which he bought online on November 16. The draw was held on Wednesday.
According to Gulf News, Nasir became the first Maldivian national to win US$1 million since the Millennium Millionaire promotion began in 1999.
Dubai is a popular holiday destination for Maldivian citizens.
