The accused Omar Farooq (21), who was sentenced in Ramgarh of Khagrachari, was arrested by the thana police.
He was arrested from Thalipara area of Patachhara Union No. 02 of the upazila on Sunday night (November 22). The arrested Md. Omar Farooq is the son of Osman Gani of Thalipara area.
Ramgarh Police Station SI Azim Hossain Khan, Deepak Biswas, Md. Harunur Or Rashid, ASI Shakidul Islam conducted a special operation in the police station area of Sangeya Force. Omar Farak was sentenced to 05 years rigorous imprisonment and 05 thousand taka fine and 6 months unpaid imprisonment in default. (21) was arrested.
Ramgarh police officer in-charge (OC) Mohammad Moin Uddin said that the accused has been handed over to the learned court as per the rules.
